Amethyst Boutique grew out of a part-time hobby business that Doug Wilson started in 1996 as a way to pursue his life-long passion for fine minerals. Over the years, Amethyst Boutique continued to grow by serving both retail and wholesale clients, eventually moving in 2021 to its current location in Dartmouth, followed by our second location in Chester in 2024. We import directly so you get the best price possible, and we are a small, local Maritime company! Let's all support local!

Toffee - Our CFO (Chief Feline Officer)
Toffee joined our team in 2021 as Shop Cat. After demonstrating remarkable leadership and supervisory skills that included sleeping in boxes and on shelves, helping customers get rid of cat treats, and offering a friendly greeting to everyone who didn't wake her from her naps, she was promoted to Chief Feline Officer (CFO).
Toffee is now semi-retired and lives with her human, but still makes time for her Toffee's Picks duties.
